Many SNACC members provide anesthesia for sitting craniotomies. Precordial doppler and TEE are advocated and used for detection of a venous air embolism. However, there seems to be an issue finding replacement for the aging precordial doppler device in the photograph by many members. Has anyone found a replacement for this model of precordial doppler used for sitting craniotomies? Many members of SNACC are looking for a replacement. Send your suggestions to rgorji@gmail.com and we will update members in the next newsletter.
