President’s Message

A Message from your President, Chanannait Paisansathan, MD MHA

You are in our community, and we welcome you to utilize all of our SNACC resources and participate in our dialogue. First of all,  the weekend of September 11-13, 2020 turned another page in our SNACC story. We had our first virtual annual meeting, and it was a huge success. Thank you all for coming. Anyone who missed us during the weekend, you still can view it on-demand here. Also, thank you all very much for your donations supporting the Bill Young Fund. Please feel free to enjoy the Ice Bucket Challenge and see the past president and I get wet!

Our SNACC members are doing incredible work for the joint global mission every day. We are here to better the art and science of perioperative neuroscience for all neurologically impaired patients.  Join us to share your discovery and advancement in the field and build research connections through specialists. There are several updates of consensus of practices that the experts in the area regularly revise. Our latest initiative on the Patient Education Project is in progress: “Get informed on your brain health when you come for surgery.” Follow us on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram and be one of the first to get notified of the newest events from SNACC.

Best wishes,
Chanannait Paisansathan, MD MHA
President, Society for Neuroscience in Anesthesiology and Critical Care (SNACC)
